Summer 2013: St. Stephen Preschool Summer Program will begin July 1, 2013 and ends on July 26, 2013. Each week provides an exciting topic of study coupled with developmentally appropriate experiences that will provide fun and hands on learning. Along with these themes, there will also be activities to promote children’s cognitive, socio-emotional, and physical development. Summer school is highly recommended in order to prepare entering preschoolers and preschool graduates who are entering Kindergarten in the fall.

Summer School Rates:
Registration Fee: $ 100.00
Full Day Program: 7:30am – 4:30 pm : $585.00
Half Day Program: 7:30am- 12:30 pm: $410.00

Payment Methods: FACTS Tuition Payment Program taking out two automatic payments or pay in full prior to the first day of Summer School.

2013- 2014 School Year Enrollment: We are currently enrolling for the 2013-2014 school year. Spots are filling up quick! Please call or e-mail the Preschool if you are interested in enrolling your child. Full Time Option 1: Hours: 7:30am-4:30 pm $550.00/per month

Full Time Option 2: Hours: 7:30am-6:00 pm $650.00/per month

Part Time/Half Day Option 3: Hours: 7:30am-12:30pm $300.00/per month

School fees: Early Registration: $250.00 Late Registration: $275.00

Earthquake Kit Fee: $30.00

Snacks and Lunches

Healthy morning, afternoon, and evening snacks are provided. School lunch may be bought from our Lunch Program or your child may bring a lunch from home. We do have a refrigerator and microwave in our facility to accommodate lunches brought from home.

Catholic Identity

St. Stephen Preschool will provide a quality Catholic education through class instruction and by ministering to the spiritual life of the child by preparing an environment in which the child is given the opportunity to develop his/her innate potential to know and love God in a personal relationship.  Our preschool uses Seeds Faith Formation Gospel Weeklies curriculum program. Seeds gospel weeklies share messages that help create a foundation for children to begin a lifetime of learning about their faith. Concepts are introduced simply and powerfully in words and ways children can understand. Jesus becomes immediate and real to them through make-and-do projects that match preschoolers’ skills, and parent notes are sent home in English and Spanish to get families involved.

ADMISSION POLICY:

St. Stephen Preschool is open to all children, regardless of race, gender, national origin, or religion. Enrollment is open to all children between the ages of 2-5 years old who turn 3 by December. All children must have current immunizations in accordance with the California Department of Health Services. All children must be toilet trained and able to attend to their own toileting needs (excluding accidents or illness).

Our commitment to each child as an individual, combined with a dedicated professional staff, provides a warm and stimulating environment where children feel safe and free to explore the world around them. Our program follows High Scope Curriculum and helps children gain confidence in themselves as they become learners, adapt to group experiences, and learn to respect the feelings of others.
